Patch Parameters--Portamento Start Pitch Set to "PITCH"
(XP-80 Owner's Manual, pg. 48. Copyright 1996, Roland Corp.). This graph shows the pitch over time when the Portamento Start parameter is set to "PITCH". In the graph, C4 is pressed first. Next, C5 is pressed making the pitch rise from C4 toward C5. But before the pitch reaches C5, D4 is pressed making the pitch move toward D4 from its level when D4 was pressed.
